Water

Water scarcity affects more than 40% of the global population and is projected to rise.

There is sufficient water on the planet for everyone to access clean water but bad economics or poor infrastructure lead to its shortage and poor quality. This negatively impacts food security, livelihood choices and educational opportunities for poor families across the world.

Water is a precondition to life, therefore any challenges related to use-efficiency, sustainability, marine pollution & life, conservation, distribution, contamination, accessibility, and resource management need to be addressed on a priority basis through technology, awareness, the participation of local communities and international cooperation.
